I like the first one best! The solid borders allow me to really enjoy and appreciate the scrappy centers. But I also have a headache right now, and I freely admit that it could be severely effecting my judgment. LOL! :)
I think this quilt could go either way - sometimes I make my decision based on the back -if you wanted to flip the quilt over and use it upside down, which binding would look more finished that way??? I also make my decision on whether I have enough on hand for the binding (scrappy or solid) or if going solid requires purchasing more fabric. It's not really a vote either way... is it?

Solid, it allows the eye to rest. I have to admit I've never been a huge fan of scrappy bindings - a solid binding allows the quilt to "finish".
