My New Kaffe Quilt!

Finished just in time for the cold snap! Now I have something to snuggle with! This was the Rattan pattern from Kaffe's book, Quilts in Sweden. I love the mix of patterns and big splashes of color!

Action shot... Haha!

This started our as a tablecloth, but then chilly weather set in and I wanted a quilt for me. Glad I finished it just in time. Temps have dipped here to the 20s-30s the last few days and is supposed to last a few more. While it may not seem like a big deal to you, it is to us. Our home's heat is that fireplace (above), along with some electric radiant heat registers in select rooms. The registers really don't do much, so there's a lot of snuggling going on.

Thank goodness that winter usually lasts a week or so here. LOL!

It's a bright and beautiful finish. Even more beautiful for being useful. Stay warm and don't lick any pipes!
