I've been to a physical rehab center visiting family and I can attest that those places are not fun... and don't feel like home whatsoever. So, in an effort to make her room more cheerful, I made her a pair of pillowcases. My view is that if you're on bedrest and rehab, you might as will make the bed as pretty as you can.
The fabric was some leftover Aviary yardage (by Paula Prass for Michael Miller) and some craft store prints.
This was the first project on my new machine. There will definitely be a learning curve. Right now the measurement markings on the machine bed are driving me nuts. I see a Seamingly Accurate Seam Guide in my future. I love the machine... It runs so smooth...
